Stroll Into a Story

Visit Lysander Park to participate in our Stroll into a Story program!

Each Friday and Saturday, from 9:00am to 2:00pm, we will have a story along our trail. Follow the trail to read the story! Each page of the book has a matching prompt that encourages readers to engage with the story. The debut of this program will be at our Repair Cafe event, on April 25th, from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.

Our current story is "Dear Earth: From Your Friends in Room 5" written by Erin Dealy and illustrated by Luisa Uribe. 

From the author's website: "What begins as a monthly exchange of ideas between Earth and Room 5 grows into a lasting friendship, a school club with a surprising president, and -hopefully- lifelong Earth-smart habits. When the kids in Room 5 write to Earth asking what they can do to help save our planet, they are delighted to get a letter back. This beautiful picture book is a celebration of every child's ability to connect with the environment and make a positive impact."
